About the Artist
Wanwan is a Japanese-based artist making Thai pop and T-pop, blending the polished production style of modern T-pop with a sound aimed at listeners who follow the Bangkok–Tokyo axis of contemporary Asian pop. Her Bandcamp and SoundCloud presence suggests a more DIY, self-releasing approach than the label-backed T-pop mainstream, which may translate into a more intimate show than the genre's glossier acts.
