Tzusing

Tzusing is a Malaysian-born producer and DJ based in Taipei, making dark, percussion-driven techno that draws on EBM and industrial as well as ceremonial drumming and Asian and Middle Eastern musical traditions. He has released on PAN and L.I.E.S., including 東方不敗 Dongfang Bubai (2017) and the album Green Hat (2023), and has been DJing since 2002, when he was living in Chicago. Expect a rhythm-first set built for the dance floor rather than a straight run of industrial techno, with acoustic instruments and vocals sometimes woven into his productions.
