The Omnific

The Omnific are an Australian instrumental band working at the intersection of djent, math rock, and progressive metal — tight polyrhythmic bass and guitar interplay with the structural ambition of prog but the punch of heavy music. They've built a following of around 70K Spotify listeners largely on the strength of their instrumental chops, releasing a string of EPs and albums that lean into extended, technically demanding compositions. If you follow bass-forward progressive music closely, they're worth catching while the rooms are still small.
