The Creation Of Adam

The Creation are a British band from the mid-1960s whose original run produced a raw, feedback-heavy strain of mod rock that sat somewhere between the Who's aggression and the Kinks' melodic sharpness. They're a cult footnote in UK rock history — their 1966 single "Making Time" is widely cited as an early template for what would later be called power pop and punk. With a small but dedicated following, catching them live is less about spectacle and more about hearing where a lot of loud British guitar music actually started.
