Tiger is a Kingston-born deejay — Norman "Tiger" Jackson — who came up on Jamaican sound systems in the late 1970s and built his name as Ranking Tiger through dancehall and reggae hits like "No Wanga Gut" and "Puppy Love" in the 1980s. A motorbike accident in the early 1990s affected his voice, making his recorded output since then more limited.
