About the Artist

Takamichi is a Sapporo-born DJ who has been playing since around 2000 and has lived in Bangkok since 2017. His sets move between disco, soul, funk, Afrobeat and Chicago and New York house, then on to Detroit techno, Balearic, deep house and nu-disco. In 2020 he co-founded the label Avo-Garde Records with Supersonic, and he is a resident at the Bangkok bar Tropic City. Expect a long-form, groove-first selection shaped by two decades of club and bar sets rather than a single-genre night.
