Safeplanet
About the Artist
Safeplanet is a three-piece Thai band that blends guitar-driven indie pop with a DIY approach, with vocalist and guitarist Thitiphat "A" Arthachinua out front, Aphiwich "Doi" Khamfoo on drums and Chayapan "Yee" Chantranuson on bass. The name stands for a "safe area" where they can make their work comfortably, and that ethos shows in a sound that sits between T-pop polish and the rougher edges of Thai rock. Expect a compact guitar, bass and drums setup rather than a heavily produced pop show.
