Rắn Cạp Đuôi

Rắn Cạp Đuôi is a Saigon sound-art and experimental group, active since 2015, whose work collages found sound, musique concrète, and experimental jazz into dense, shifting pieces that sit somewhere between ambient, post-rock, and noise. Their performance history is unusually varied: a nonstop 48-hour set in a local gallery, and a three-drum improvisation at Nhạc Gãy's Boiler Room. Expect something closer to a live sound-art piece than a conventional band set, with compositions that swing between harsh, chaotic walls of sound and quieter, more delicate passages.
