About the Artist

OG-ANIC is a Thai rapper whose sound blends Thai hip hop and trap with pop hooks and touches of luk thung, the country's rural folk-pop tradition. Born Phuwadit Silaudomdet in 1998, he grew up in Ban Phaeo, Samut Sakhon, with family roots in Buriram, and took his stage name from the Thai idea of "pesticide-free vegetables", a nod to his love of eating greens. His luk thung influence is a distinctive part of his sound, so it's worth catching him live if you want to hear how that regional flavor sits alongside modern trap beats.
