Maniac (Achim Schneemann) is a Bavarian MC and producer who has been working in German hip-hop since 1985, placing him among the genre's earliest practitioners. He founded the Demograffics collective, which has been a quiet constant in the underground scene across four decades. With a back catalogue that long, a live set is essentially a walk through the roots of German rap.
