About the Artist

Homecomings (ホムカミ) are a Kyoto four-piece who blend hazy shoegaze textures with tightly structured indie pop, sung mostly in English despite being a wholly Japanese band. They've been releasing music since 2012 and are signed to Pony Canyon, with their catalogue sitting somewhere between early Camera Obscura and the dreamier end of j-rock. Their bilingual approach and guitar-layered sound translate well to a live setting, where the interplay between the twin guitars tends to hit harder than on record.
