Goldcap

Goldcap is the project of Berge Sahakian, a DJ and producer working in tribal house, organic house and downtempo, with rhythms and textures that draw on world music traditions. He came to electronic music in 2006 and began DJing almost immediately, building on a childhood spent absorbing everything from classical and reggae to West African and Middle Eastern sounds. A multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass, piano and percussion, he brings that live-instrument background into his productions, which makes his sets worth catching if you like your house music percussive and warm rather than purely club-driven.
