About the Artist

Gerd Janson is a German DJ and producer who plays a disco-leaning strain of house, drawing on nu disco and indie dance. He runs the Running Back label, which he started with Thorsten Scheu (aka Glance), and he has been a regular at Frankfurt's Robert Johnson club, where he hosted the Liquid nights alongside Thomas Hammann. He has also remixed under the aliases Tuff City Kids and Pink Alert, so his sets tend to reflect a label head's ear for deep catalogue cuts as much as current dancefloor records.
