FOSIL

Fosil is the stage name of E.Berhan Yıldız, an Istanbul-based producer, sound designer, and DJ who has worked since 2015 in a space between IDM, breakcore, and off-kilter breakbeat. His tracks fold Turkish instruments and cartoon samples into atonal, experimental textures, and in 2018 he co-founded the Badmash Collective to support Turkey's underground electronic scene. Expect a set built around groovy, off-grid breaks rather than straight club rhythms, with an unusual sound palette that sets it apart from typical bass-music bills.
