Eli Keszler

Eli Keszler is a New York-based composer and percussionist working at the intersection of electroacoustic music, free improvisation, and experimental jazz — think mechanical rhythms, bowed crotales, and dense layered textures rather than anything close to conventional drumming. He has collaborated with veteran minimalist composer Phill Niblock and builds performances around live installations that integrate motors and mechanical devices alongside acoustic instruments. Catching him live means seeing the physical infrastructure of the music — the installations are part of the show, not backdrop.
