Desire

Desire is a Montréal-formed, now Palm Springs-based synth-pop trio whose sound draws more from cold-wave and darkwave textures than the polished end of the genre. Active since 2009 under the name Primitive Desire, they've built a small but dedicated following across Bandcamp and SoundCloud rather than through mainstream channels. If you're into late-night, analog-leaning synth music with some grit to it, they're worth catching before the room gets any bigger.
