Chris Avantgarde

Chris Avantgarde (Christian Vornweg) is a German producer and DJ, born in Arnsberg in 1992 and now based in London, whose music moves between melodic techno, melodic house, and harder techno. A classically trained jazz pianist who turned to electronic production in his mid-teens, he founded VNTGRD, a collective, label, and publishing house for conceptual electronic releases, and has put out music on Interscope, Size Records, and Dirtybird, including an official remix for The Prodigy. Having refused to settle on a single lane, his sets can be expected to draw from across the electronic spectrum rather than stay in one groove.
