Aka Aka

Aka Aka is a Berlin duo, Hannes & Holger, who make minimal techno and tech house. They met behind the decks at an open-air party in spring 2008 and signed to Oliver Koletzki's Stil vor Talent label, which released their debut Voegeln EP in March 2009. Their track "Woody Woodpecker" spent a month at number 1 on the Beatport minimal chart and took third place for best minimal track at the 2010 Beatport Music Awards. Their roots are in Berlin's open-air party scene, so expect a club-oriented set built around groove rather than big-room drops.
