Getting There
Located in the EmSphere mall on Sukhumvit Road, in the Phrom Phong area of central Bangkok. By BTS: Get off at Phrom Phong Station on the Sukhumvit Line. EmSphere is connected to the station by a skywalk, so you can walk there without going down to street level. By MRT: Take the MRT to Sukhumvit Station and transfer to the BTS at Asok. Ride to Phrom Phong, then take the skywalk. By taxi or ride-hailing: Grab and Bolt both work well. Set the drop-off to EmSphere, then take the elevators or escalators to Floor 6. By car: Parking is available in the EmSphere and neighboring Emporium and EmQuartier complexes. Sukhumvit traffic is heavy on show nights, so leave extra time. By bus: Several city bus routes run along Sukhumvit Road. Check Google Maps for current routes and stops. Tip: Public transport is the most reliable option on concert nights. Use the Google Maps link for live directions.
About Julian Marley
Julian Marley is a London-born reggae singer and multi-instrumentalist, the son of Bob Marley, whose roots reggae leans on the Jamaican tradition he grew up in after a childhood split between England and Jamaica. He debuted with Lion in the Morning in 1996 and followed it with A Time & Place (2003) and Awake (2009), the last of which was nominated for a Grammy. He has also been a partner in the Ghetto Youth International production company with his brothers Ziggy and Stephen since 1989, and his live shows are built on the same roots-reggae sound as his records, played on the instruments he learned as a kid, including keys, drums, bass, and guitar.
