Zomboy

Zomboy is Joshua Mellody, a Cornwall-born, Guildford-based producer whose heavy dubstep pulls in riddim, deathstep and drum and bass. He started out as a recording engineer and released covers under the name Place Your Bet$ before studying music production at ACM and turning to bass music, with Skrillex and Rusko among his stated influences. His debut EP on Never Say Die spent over eight weeks in Beatport's top five dubstep releases, so expect a set built around hard, bass-forward drops rather than anything subtle.
