About the Artist

Young K (Kang Young-hyun, 강영현) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and the bassist and vocalist of the K-rock band DAY6, who also releases solo material under his own name. He writes much of his own music, and his solo work leans toward pop-rock and band-driven arrangements rather than the polished dance-pop of most Korean idol acts. He's worth catching live if you like your K-pop-adjacent shows built around real instruments and a rock-leaning vocal style.
