XG

XG is a seven-member group of Japanese members based in South Korea, making pop that pulls from hip-hop and R&B and is sung mostly in English. They debuted in March 2022 with the single "Tippy Toes" under XGALX, an Avex subsidiary, and have worked outside the usual Japanese and Korean idol pipelines ever since. Their catalogue leans on hard-hitting rap verses and R&B-style vocals more than the bright pop of many K-pop peers, so their live shows should suit fans who want a group built around dance and vocal skill.
