Skrillex

Skrillex is the Los Angeles producer Sonny Moore, who traded his post-hardcore past as lead singer of From First to Last for heavy, glitchy dubstep and electro that helped define the American take on the genre. His 2010 EP Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites set off a run that brought multiple Grammys, and with Diplo as Jack Ü he landed "Where Are Ü Now" with Justin Bieber, a multi-platinum hit. His sets draw from that crossover catalogue as well as the harder bass music he started with, so expect both the big drops and the pop-leaning collaborations.
