SAGOSAID

SAGOSAID is a Tokyo-area indie band led by vocalist and guitarist SAGO, mixing shoegaze with the rougher edges of Japanese punk and lo-fi indie. They debuted with the seven-song REIMEI in December 2021, followed it with three months of singles starting in April 2022, and put out the album Tough Love Therapy in June 2023, recorded at SAGO's own Studio REIMEI in Chofu. Their cassette release sold out almost immediately, which suggests a small but committed following worth seeing up close in a club-sized room.
