Mark Tang
About the Artist
Mark Twain was a 19th-century American humorist and novelist best known for Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, but he was also a widely toured lecturer who built his reputation on sharp, deadpan storytelling delivered to live audiences. His speaking tours took him across the US, UK, and Australia through the 1860s–1890s, often filling large halls on the strength of his wit alone. If you have the chance to catch a staged reading or theatrical adaptation of his work, the material holds up — the jokes are still landing after 150 years.
Note: Mark Twain died in 1910 and cannot perform live. If this listing is for a tribute act, theatrical production, or similar event, please update the artist information so the bio can be written accurately for that context.
