I Hate Models

I Hate Models is the project of French producer and DJ Guillaume Labadie, working across hard, industrial, and acid techno with a melancholy streak, pairing emotional synths with colder, harder sounds. He broke through in late 2016 with the Warehouse Memories EP on ARTS, then released the 2019 album L'Âge Des Métamorphoses on Perc Trax and remixed Depeche Mode and Perc. His sets draw on rave, EBM, and industrial as well as techno, and he tends to build them around mood shifts, moving between nostalgia and brutality rather than holding a single peak-time pressure.
