About the Artist
Far East Movement is a Los Angeles Asian-American group, formed in 2003 by Kev Nish, Prohgress and J-Splif with DJ Virman later joining, whose sound blends electro-hop, club rap and dance-pop. Their 2010 single "Like a G6," featuring The Cataracs and Dev, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, a rare chart-topper for an Asian-American group. Their sets draw on that club-rap and EDM crossover, which makes them a good pick if you want party-ready hits more than a genre purist's night out.
