About the Artist

Eill is a Tokyo-born singer-songwriter, born in 1998, who blends J-pop with soul, R&B and dance-leaning production. She debuted in 2018 with the mini-album MAKUAKE, a mix of retro-futuristic funk and pop hooks, and her stage name comes from the Norse goddess Eir, a figure tied to healing. Her voice moves between sweetness and strength, which makes her a good pick if you want Japanese pop with a real R&B backbone rather than straight idol-style polish.
