CRACK-IN THE CIRCLE
About the Artist
Inner Circle are a Kingston-bred reggae band built around brothers Roger and Ian Lewis, whose sound runs from roots-heavy rhythms to the kind of pop-crossover reggae that fills festival stages. They're best known for "Bad Boys," the 1993 track that became the theme to the TV show Cops and has since logged tens of millions of streams, making it one of the most-recognized reggae songs outside Jamaica. After more than five decades on the road, their live sets are a well-drilled mix of catalogue crowd-pleasers and dancehall-adjacent grooves worth catching if you want proper Jamaican reggae from a band that's been doing it since before most current acts were born.
