Counterparts

Counterparts are a melodic hardcore and metalcore band from Hamilton, Ontario, formed in 2007 and fronted by vocalist Brendan Murphy. Their sound pairs heavy, breakdown-driven hardcore with melodic guitar leads, and their recent albums on Pure Noise Records earned praise from Rock Sound and Exclaim!. Their Bangkok date is a chance to see one of the more prominent bands in the current metalcore revival in a club-scale setting, where their raw, high-intensity hardcore roots come through most clearly.
