Connan Mockasin

Connan Mockasin is a psychedelic pop musician from Te Awanga, New Zealand, whose warped, loose-limbed songs blend experimental guitar tones, falsetto vocals and a hazy, off-kilter pop sensibility. He started out in Wellington as the blues-pop trio Connan and the Mockasins, releasing the EP Uuu It's Teasy in 2006 before relocating to London that same year. His shows tend to stretch and rework the recorded material, so expect a set that drifts and improvises rather than replaying the albums note for note.
