Claudio Filippini is an Italian pianist and keyboardist from Pescara whose work sits in the experimental end of jazz — harmonically restless and more interested in texture than in straight-ahead swing. His audience is still relatively small, so a Bangkok date would put you in a room where you can actually hear what he's doing with the piano rather than watching from a distance.
