B.I

B.I is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter and producer who writes and raps across K-pop and K-rap, with a melodic hip-hop style that grew out of his years as the leader and lead rapper of iKON. He was scouted at 13 to appear on MC Mong's "Indian Boy," joined YG Entertainment in 2011, and now runs his own label, 131, as well as serving as a director at IOK Company. As a solo act he performs material he wrote and produced himself, so a live set shows his rap and songwriting side more than a typical idol showcase does.
