About the Artist

Aphrodite is a UK drum and bass DJ and producer working in the jungle and breakbeat-heavy side of the genre, with a sound built on chopped breaks and rolling basslines. Active since the 1990s, he has been one of the more persistent names in jungle's long-running scene, releasing and playing through several waves of the genre's revival. His sets suit anyone who wants a night of fast, break-driven DJing rather than a single-sound festival drop.
