About the Artist

5 Seconds of Summer are a Sydney pop rock band whose sound runs from the pop-punk of their early records to slicker, arena-sized pop. They started in 2011 posting YouTube covers, then broke internationally in 2013 when One Direction took them on the Take Me Home Tour. Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin still play their own instruments on stage, so the shows sit closer to a rock band's set than a backing-track pop production.
