Melody of Life

Melody of Life is a free, open-air music festival held annually on the plaza in front of centralwOrld in Bangkok's Ratchaprasong district. It is produced by Thai independent label SpicyDisc together with centralwOrld and Central Pattana, and has run for seventeen editions.

The festival programmes over a hundred acts across four stages — an Outdoor Stage for headline sets, an Indoor Stage for quieter material, an Indy Stage for independent bands, and an Idol Stage devoted to T-Pop — alongside a music market of artist and designer goods, DJ booths and food vendors. Admission is free for the full run.

Melody of Life also bills itself as an environmentally themed event, pairing the music programme with recycling drives, charity auctions, blood donation and donation points, and student art exhibitions. A side-competition, SPAWN STAGE, gives secondary and university bands a route onto the festival's stages.
