## About this concert

Celebrating International Jazz Day with Peter Beets Trio in the Live Room - an evening of swing, hard bop, and post-bop led by one of Europe's most celebrated jazz pianists. Born in The Hague, Peter Beets has shared stages with Chick Corea, Wynton Marsalis, and Dee Dee Bridgewater, while gracing renowned festivals from North Sea Jazz to Tokyo. His sound moves effortlessly between classical finesse and bebop fire - where virtuosity meets undeniable groove. Joined by Steve Zwanink on double bass and Sander Smeets on drums, the trio delivers jazz in its purest form: raw, honest, deeply rooted in tradition, yet alive with spontaneity.
