## About

paranoid void is an all-female math rock trio from Osaka, formed in 2013, whose sound blends tangled, angular guitar work with the melodic pull of J-rock and the slow-building dynamics of post-rock. Guitarist MEGURI has also stepped in as support guitarist for fellow Japanese indie band MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS, a sign of how closely the trio is tied to that country&#39;s alternative scene. As a three-piece of guitar, bass and drums, they have little room to hide behind effects or backing tracks, so their intricate rhythmic interplay is easiest to appreciate in person.
