## About

Mew is a Danish band from Copenhagen, formed in 1995, whose dream pop is built around Jonas Bjerre's high falsetto and dense, shifting arrangements that lean toward prog and shoegaze. Their 2003 album *Frengers*, with "Am I Wry? No" and "She Came Home for Christmas," brought them out of Denmark to an international audience, and *And the Glass Handed Kites* (2005) pushed the sound toward a continuous, suite-like structure. Their songs are layered and complex on record, so seeing how the band recreates them on stage is a draw for fans of that catalogue.
