## About

Memphis May Fire is a Dallas metalcore band that formed in 2006 and has moved from its post-hardcore and screamo roots toward heavier, more hook-driven songs with a streak of Southern rock. Their sixth full-length, *Shapeshifter*, came out in March 2025, nearly two decades after they began as a local act in Texas. Their catalogue mixes breakdown-heavy riffs with big sung choruses, so a live set should move between pit-ready heaviness and sing-along moments.
