MAN WITH A MISSION

MAN WITH A MISSION is a Tokyo rock band formed in Shibuya in 2010, blending J-rock and pop-punk with rap-metal and electronic elements, with a DJ and sampler as a permanent fifth of the lineup. The members perform as half-man, half-wolf characters in full wolf-head masks, and the band signed to a major label (Sony Music) within a year of forming. Their songs have turned up in anime soundtracks, which is how many listeners outside Japan first found them, and the mask-and-DJ setup gives the live show a visual identity that's distinct from most guitar bands.
