## About

L'Impératrice is a Paris band that blends French pop with disco, nu-disco and house, built around synths, bass and Flore Benguigui's cool, airy vocals. Their 2021 album *Tako Tsubo* and the earlier *Matahari* (2018) made them one of the most visible French indie-pop exports of the past decade, with a following well beyond France. The songs are made for dancing, and the band plays them as a full group rather than as a laptop set.
