## About

Kitarō is a Japanese composer and multi-instrumentalist, born Masanori Takahashi in 1953, who builds instrumental new age music around synthesizers blended with acoustic and traditional textures. He won the Grammy for Best New Age Album for *Thinking of You* in 1999, after a record 16 nominations in that category, and took a Golden Globe for his 1993 score to Oliver Stone's *Heaven & Earth*. Expect a slow, immersive set suited to listening closely rather than dancing.
