# Israel & New Breed Source: https://livein.city/bkk/artists/israel-new-breed Genres: Gospel, gospel, worship, christian Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/77HU1Zb1VDIFvWKteJii0E Links: [Website]() ## About Israel & New Breed is a Christian worship group led by Israel Houghton, blending gospel with jazz and rock in a cross-cultural style that Houghton built after forming the band in 1997. Their live album *Alive in South Africa*, recorded in Cape Town, won the 2007 Grammy for Best Traditional Gospel Album, and its song "Not Forgotten" took a Dove Award the year before. Their records are made as live congregational recordings, so expect a set built around call-and-response worship rather than a standard concert run. ## Upcoming concerts - **Fri Oct 23** [Israel & New Breed \['TIL THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS TOUR 2026\] - Live in Bangkok](https://livein.city/bkk/concerts/israel-new-breed-centerpoint-2026-10-23) — Centerpoint Studio --- Every LiveIn.city page linked above is also available as markdown: add `.md` to its URL.
