# Dar Disku Source: https://livein.city/bkk/artists/dar-disku Genres: Electronic Fusion Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/70XpwqZmbGHH9TnDuvPhGR ## About Dar Disku is a DJ duo and live project formed in 2019 by Mazen AlMaskati and Vish M, drawing on music from across Arabia and blending it into instrumental electronic fusion. The name comes from a 1970s Egyptian pop culture magazine and translates as "home of the disco," a nod to the vintage Arab pop and disco records that shape their selections. As a duo that moves between DJ sets and live performance, they're worth catching if you want Gulf and Arabic sounds reworked for the dancefloor rather than presented as a heritage act. --- Every LiveIn.city page linked above is also available as markdown: add `.md` to its URL.
