# Brent Burns Source: https://livein.city/bkk/artists/brent-burns Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/5vqf0l0y4asjkeuUVPM81a Links: [Resident Advisor]() ## About Brent Burns is an Oklahoma-born singer-songwriter rooted in Trop-Rock — the sun-and-rum adjacent genre associated with beach bars, sailboats, and the Parrothead crowd. A Vietnam veteran who returned to performing after a three-year military hospital recuperation, he's been working the road circuit across the United States since the early 1970s. If you're already a Parrothead or follow the Trop-Rock circuit, he's a familiar name in that world; everyone else should know going in that this is laid-back, escapist fare built for an outdoor bar setting rather than a concert hall. ## Upcoming concerts - **Fri Oct 30** [Parity - Telephones B2B DJ Fett Burger](https://livein.city/bkk/concerts/parity-telephones-b2b-dj-fett-burger-bar-temp-2026-10-30) — Bar Temp. --- Every LiveIn.city page linked above is also available as markdown: add `.md` to its URL.
