## About

Archgoat is a Finnish black/death metal band formed in Turku in 1989, playing crude, bestial riffs at a grinding pace with guttural vocals. They split after a handful of early demos and the *Angelcunt (Tales of Desecration)* EP, then returned in the mid-2000s and have since released four albums, including *Whore of Bethlehem* (2006) and *The Light-Devouring Darkness* (2009), plus *The Luciferian Crown* (2018). Their records stay close to the raw, war-metal template they helped shape in the early '90s, so expect a relentless, no-frills set rather than a polished one.
